No, unfortunately this entry is not going to be about how cool it would be to have super powers. I know, such a disappointment. All in due time, young grasshopper, all in due time. No, what I meant was that, if life were filled with superheros and super villians, then everyday life things would seem smaller.

You're flaws as a person would seem less important in the face of a second Ice Age in the wake of a super villian's freeze ray, or something similar. I guess this might be just me, trying to find a way out of having to own up to responsibility, or having to accept that I may not be such a great person after all.

Sometimes, you just have to really step back and actually look at yourself, try to see yourself the way others do. And sometimes, you don't really like the reflection. But hey, in the immortal words of a movie that I have not actually watched; "You can't handle the truth!" The real challenge however, lies in making the necessary choices afterwards. Sometimes change is better.

But damn it, I really wish for some super powers right about now.
